Project
A response to William Blake’s poem — the burning predator and the unbothered lamb, set against an indigo cosmos.
Blake’s poem asks what kind of maker could fashion both the lamb and the tiger — the gentle and the terrifying — from the same hand. The Illustration takes that question literally: predator and prey share a single ground, the flame is dressed as fur, and the lamb refuses to look afraid.
Worked in a mixed digital approach — hand-drawn linework laid over loose colour blocks — to keep the edges raw and the flame restless.
