Project
A witch and her familiar at the moment the spell takes. The crow gets the second face.
The piece is built on the relationship between the witch and the bird — they share the work, share the cauldron, and quietly share the moment something steps out of the steam. The figure rising from the brew is rendered as light, not flesh: an idea pulled into shape.
Hot violets and cyans were used to push the magic into a register the witch’s worn clothing and tired hands could not occupy.
