A tribute piece — Spider-Man cornered against a wall by a roaring symbiote, sky on fire behind them. Fan art; characters owned by Marvel.
A personal Illustration made out of love for the character and the genre. The composition was the entire point: the symbiote takes more than half the frame, the hero is pushed to the very edge of the canvas, and the sky is doing all the rest of the colour work.
